About CrimCoons Cats

My cattery started when I purchased a Maine Coon as a pet. I looked for a long time to find that one animal that took my heart and it was a Maine Coon (I was looking at a Bengal kitten at the time and they had a Maine Coon there as a pet its shear size blew me away and I was hooked, hence I no longer wanted a Bengal.)

After much looking I found a breeder and bought my first Male desexed kitten, I was hooked from then on and decided that I wanted to show him, so I did and have done so with him ever since winning many prizes and ribbons. But as the story goes one is never enough when you have a Maine Coon, so after much thinking and talking with other breeders, I decided to find a couple of nice breeding Queens that would start me off as a breeder so I could better the breed and let other people enjoy the beauty and wonder of these amazing cats.

Then the hard part came finding a Stud Male to breed with my Queens, a long hard journey and a lot of phone calls and emails later I got my boy from the Netherlands, such a long way away but so very worth all the time, effort and money involved. So Why Crim Coons?, I worked at a Jail as a Correctional Officer and have seen many things there in my time, one thing I did notice is a Maine Coon is a lot like a Criminal, hahaha, no really, they will steal your food right from your plate and give you a look of “ I did not do it “ when you find your couch shredded and they will try to get you to do things for them that you don’t want to do and they will always be in your face wanting attention.

You will never shower alone again or go to the toilet alone again, in fact, there is nothing you will ever do again alone with a Maine Coon around, you can close the door but the constant meowing and banging you will hear soon makes you give in and open it, running water is also fun to play in so get used to that also I can't remember the last time I didn’t have a face looking at me in the bath or shower and have usually got at least one with me when I'm on the computer they love to chase the mouse on the screen and play with the keyboard.

All my cats have grown up with the T.V and radio on, they have had run of the house but have never been outside. None of my kittens or cats will ever roam the streets as they will get stolen and they will eat our native wildlife.

All my kittens are sold after 13 weeks of age, they are desexed and have had two of their immunisations. All of my kittens are sold as indoor cats they have never known outside and what they don’t know they will never miss. If you decide you want to build an outside cattery for them to play in so they can travel from inside to out at their own leisure I recommend getting a professional to build one for you but I strongly advise against letting your kitten wander around un confined you will not like what he or she brings home to you and they are not good fighters so injury to them will be high and that comes with just as high vet bills.

All my cats sleep wherever they want and are very social when visitors come around. I breed for quality NOT quantity my queens are bred only once a year.

A lot of time and effort has been placed into your new kitten, It leaves our home healthy and happy, if at any time you find that you cannot take care of your Maine Coon and need to re-home it again I will take it back gladly, they are never to be put to sleep just because they are no longer wanted. If for any reason your Kitten becomes sick seek Veterinary care immediately, if it is due to there being a health issue with the kitten please contact me and we will discuss its issue and what is to be done regarding it, I am always available to talk to for advice at any time regarding your kitten.

I hope you love your new Maine Coon kitten just as much as I do and with the many years to come, enjoy the laughter it will bring to your household.
